Orpheus' zither

I was Orpheus. ^__^
Actually, I spent weeks and months more time working on the boat (behind me; see the eye on the bow?) than my actual cosplay.
And it was totally worth it.
<sub>Unless you count the hat... that thing took FOREVER to sew together.... and it still fell apart in the end x__x
But hey, it was my first attempt at millinery, and that really helped me make my second/Barbossa hat a few weeks later.

I also did not know until after Picnic Day/this photo was taken by ~GoodnightPoeticWolfi that I was playing the zither wrong... whoops. Oh well.</sub>
I had a zither because we had few funds, time, or means to make a lyre. But thanks to, ironically, the Siren who lent this this me for the parade.
